Enrollment Is Limited: Pre-registration is expected prior to May 31 so a precise schedule for each child can be achieved. Children who may participate in the program are: children and grandchildren of members. Other children who are sponsored by a Club member may register provided there is available space. All registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will be closed when space in each program is filled. For sailing, all sponsored children must be signed up for two consecutive weeks in order to participate. Also for sailing, enrollment for sponsored children may also be limited during the busier weeks, especially weeks 5, 6 & 7. These two stipulations do not apply to children or grandchildren of members.
Special note - Member's (children and grandchildren) will be eligible to sign-up for classes in Sailing and swimming from whenever the website is up and taking applications, to May 20th. After then, members may sign-up 'sponsored' children, (as can members, who still wish to signup children and grandchildren). Any classes deemed 'full' by class sizes already determined, may choose to place their names on the waiting list. After May 31st, classes will be filled according to date of application, with no regard as to member or sponsored child status. This to include the waiting list individuals.
Age & Ability Requirements: Little Dingy Sailing: six years old, All other Sailing: eight years old, Tennis: five years old. Each child's ability level in a particular sport will be reviewed by the program directors based on past experience and/or early assessment to ensure enrollment and participation at the appropriate level.
